I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and enjoy caring for patients of all ages.
I was born and raised near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I pursued my interest in health and wellness, graduating with highest honors, from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology - Nutrition in 2002, followed by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2005. I came to Colorado in 2007 as a Travel RN and I loved Colorado so much that I never left! I spent 8 years working as an RN in Critical Care and then completed my Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2016. I have worked in Primary Care for the last 6 years and joined Colorado Springs Family Practice in January 2022.
It is a joy to get to know my patients and their families and find that the patient-provider partnership is key to optimizing well living. One of my favorite quotes is “When ‘I’ is replaced with ‘WE’, even ILLNESS becomes WELLNESS” (Malcolm X). My goal is to provide a comfortable environment to care for your physical and emotional health.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside enjoying the Colorado sunshine, learning how to garden, starting (but not always finishing) craft projects, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my husband, 6 year old daughter, and two spoiled golden doodles.
